The Masters Merch: Blooming Marvellous Selection of Masters Related Products.

It’s finally Masters week so time for a little bit of fun! As you might, or might not know, each hole at Augusta National is named after a flower or tree. Listed here are all hole names and a product with a tedious link! Scroll through them and you might just bag yourself a Masters bargain.

It is that time of the year when we are all preparing to put our feet up on the sofa and watch the drama unfold over Augusta National. For those lucky enough to attend The Masters there is the opportunity to join the queues and purchase some Masters Merch. NCG’s very own Steve Carroll is there this year and you can follow his Masters journey via X formerly twitter , including his Masters Merch purchases.

However, for those not lucky enough to actually be there, to wet your appetite here is a little fun list of alternative Masters Merch suggestions. Listed products below have some link to each of the hole names at Augusta National, which are named after flowers and trees. Click on the link on each hole name if you want to read the hole history and why it is named as it is.

For some of the holes, for those old enough to remember, the product suggestions might have been more suitable for Dave’s Tedious Link section on the Chris Moyles Radio 1 Breakfast Show! Anyway, I hope you give me some slack and remember it is a bit of fun mixed in with some really cool products that you might wish to purchase!

Hole 1 – Tea Olive

Hard as I tried to find a product related to Osmanthus fragans I sadly could not find anything! Luckily for me it is part of the Olive family and this Oscar Jacobson Bullock Tour Golf Polo Shirt in Olive is the perfect item to kick of the Tedious Link around Masters Merch! Quality is always associated with Oscar Jacobson and currently available in sizes M-2XL.

Available: Now
RRP: From £49.99
More information: Oscar Jacobson Bullock Tour Golf Polo Shirt

Hole 2 – Pink Dogwood

Another polo top but a different quality brand this time. Check out Glenmuir’s White/Navy/Hot Pink Micro G Print Performance Golf Shirt. This top is subtle with the pink but has a classy design that can be worn on and off the course.

Hole 3 – Flowering Peach

Though tempting and relatively straightforward to select yet another polo shirt the item of choice this time is this Titleist Cart 14 Lightweight Golf Cart Bag in Grey/Peach. It can be used on an electric or pull trolley and is one of Titleist’s best sellers! It is also currently 20% off as well!

Hole 4 – Flowering Crab Apple

Time now for some golf balls! I know apples can be red as well as green but as the actual hole is a Par 3 with an elusive green the ball of choice for this hole had to be a green golf ball. Once again a bargain can be had with these Srixon 2022 Soft Feel Brite Golf Balls as they are currently 41% off!

RRP: £26.99 – reduced to £15.99

Hole 5 – Magnolia

Say Magnolia and The Masters and most people will think of Magnolia Lane. Often you see players filming themselves driving down the infamous Lane wetting the viewers appetite before the actual start of the tournament. Most people would dream of purchasing a package that included the journey down Magnolia Lane. As such, the next item has to be the Wilson Ladies Magnolia Package Golf Complete Set!

Available: Now
RRP: £430
More information: Wilson Magnolia Package Golf Complete Set

Hole 6 – Juniper

You might be thinking that we are a third of the way through this tedious link of Masters Merch and there have been no shoes. Well, the wait is over and so check out these evergreen Adidas shoes. Yet another bargain to be had as they are currently 50% off!

Available: Now
RRP: £100 reduced to £50
More information: Adidas Men’s S2G Sl 23 Wide Golf Shoe

Hole 7 – Pampas

Did I say that some of these links were tedious? Well, this one is not exactly anything to do with Pampas but the design of this Ogio All Elements Woode hybrid stand bag could easily be mistaken as being Pampas like! Well, if you look very quickly and do not study in great detail the actual plants on the bag!

RRP: £79 reduced to £42.99
More information: J Lindeberg polo shirt – micro bridge cherry

Hole 10 – Camellia

Apparently Camellia is native to Japan and China. As such this item is a tribute to Hideki Matsuyama. Unfortunately I cannot offer up the 18th flag his caddie removed when he won in 2021. However, you could try out the Srixon Z Star XV balls Hideki plays with, which got a 4.5 out of 5 star rating when reviewed by the NCG team. With the RRP at £47.99 there are currently some good offers about, just check the price table below.

Available: Now

More information: J.Lindeberg KV Tour Golf Polo Shirt – Azalea

Hole 14 – Chinese Fir

Hands up! Struggling now on this hole to find any tedious link. It is therefore the perfect time to direct you to the book – The Masters: A Hole-by-Hole History of America’s Golf Classic. You can engross yourself in the history and no doubt educate yourself on Chinese Fir!

Available: Now
RRP: £26.95
More information: The Masters: A Hole-by-Hole History of America’s Golf Classic

Hole 15 – Firethorn

The Firethorn is native to Southern Europe and so this item is associated with the first European to win The Masters – Seve Ballesteros. Seve won The Masters in 1980 and 1983 with this item commemorating his win in 1980 with a framed commemorative coin set. It has been argued that Seve’s wins started the floodgate for other European wins in the 1980s and 90s and so this item acknowledges the man who knocked down the European mental barrier of winning the green jacket.

Available: Now
RRP: £30.99
More information: Seve Ballesteros Sporting Legend Vintage The US Masters Championship Champion Green Jacket Winner Retro Coin Present Display Gift Set 1980

Hole 16 – Redbud

We are nearing the end of the round and so just have to throw some bright shorts in there! Afterall, The Masters often signals the start of the golf season, an increase in the temperature and the imminent donning of shorts for many! This item is not strictly Redbud but is bright and in keeping with amazing colours at Augusta National. Check out these Lucid Fuchsia Adidas Ultimate365 Core 8.5 Inch golf shorts.

Available: Now
RRP: £45 reduced to £29.49
More information: Adidas Ultimate365 Core 8.5 Inch Golf Shorts – Lucid Fuchsia

Hole 17 – Nandina

For the penultimate hole of the round we are going to tee it up with some bamboo due to the fact that Nandina is sometimes called heavenly bamboo. None plastic, long lasting and 100% bamboo. They are currently on offer on a 3 for 2 purchase and available in 59mm and 70mm.

Available: Now
RRP: 3 for 2 offer or £2.99 per pack.
More information: 40 x 70mm pack and 20 x 59mm pack

Hole 18 – Holly

An iconic finishing hole whose name, Holly, is used worldwide for Christmas decorations. This can only mean one thing and a great way to finish the 18 holes – a Christmas golf jumper courtesy of Glenmuir. This Men’s Round Neck Fairisle Stag Merino Blend Christmas Sweater is available in three styles knitted in merino wool and all reviews on the Glenmuir website are 5 star.

Available: Now
RRP: £60
More information: Glenmuir Men’s Round Neck Fairisle Stag Merino Blend Christmas Sweater

Well, that is the 18 holes done which can only mean one thing. Time for a sit down and natter in the 19th hole. As such, here are a selection of products associated with some iconic Masters moments and sayings.

19th Hole – Drink – In Your Life

Tiger’s chip in at the 16th at the 2005 Masters and the accompanying “In Your Life” commentary quote definitely deserves a product dedicated to that moment. Nike no longer manufactures golf balls and so the product for this section is a red Nike Dri-FIT ADV Tiger Woods Men’s Contour Print Golf Polo. Currently only available in Large and XL but if you are that size it is at the reduced price of £55.

Available: Now
RRP: £72.99 reduced to £55
More information: Nike Dri-FIT ADV Tiger Woods Men’s Contour Print Golf Polo

19th Hole – Crisps – Yes Sir!

There just had to be a product dedicated to the 6 time Masters Champion Jack Nicklaus. Not only is this still a record for a number victories, Jack’s last victory in 1986 was when he was 46, still the oldest ever Masters Champion. Jack shot 30 on the back nine on Sunday and on the 17th hole the infamous “Yes Sir!” commentary was born. In tribute to the Golden Bear you can purchase this book and read all about that 1986 win. It even has a picture on the front cover at the “Yes Sir!” moment.

Available: Now
RRP: £10.25

19th Hole – Nuts – Green Jacket

Only one way to finish this article and that has to be with a green jacket! Check out this J Lindeberg Jeff Hybrid green jacket. Currently available in M-XL and at the reduced price of £126.99.
