Rocket Mortgage Classic prize money 2024

See what each player could take home from Detroit Golf Club…

The Rocket Mortgage Classic was the scene of emotion and relief last year when Rickie Fowler won for the first time on the PGA Tour in four years.

He beat Adam Hadwin and Collin Morikawa in a three-way playoff at Detroit Golf Club in Michigan to win his sixth PGA Tour title. He also pocketed $1,584,000 of the $8,800,000 purse as it was then.

In 2024, the purse has risen a touch to $9,200,000 and the winner bill bank a fraction more with a $1,656,000 cheque. This is the largest winner’s prize in the tournament’s short history.

The Rocket Mortgage Classic became a thing in 2019 when Nate Lashley won by six shots, and a prize of $1,314,000 to go with it. The event has produced some solid winners in Bryson DeChambeau and Tony Finau who won with a staggering score of 26-under-par.
