$20 million?! How much does the winner earn at the Travelers Championship?
See what each player took home from TPC River Highlands…
The Travelers Championship was the final Signature Event of the PGA Tour season. That went fast, didn’t it?
$20 million was up for grabs at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut and $4 million, once again, went to Scottie Scheffler who beat Tom Kim in a playoff.
There was no cut in Cromwell, so every player in the field got a cut of the eight-figure pie that was on offer. It was the eighth Signature Event of the season and Scottie Scheffler has now won four of them.
The World No.1 has cashed in at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the RBC Heritage and the Memorial Tournament, while stars such as Rory McIlroy, Hideki Matsuyama and Wyndham Clark have won elevated-purse events in 2024 as well.
Scheffler didn’t only receive a huge pay-check, but 700 FedEx Cup points too which will help him on his way to the Tour Championship at the end of the season and even more riches.
