LIV Golf is beginning its fourth season. How time flies.

The Saudi-funded series hosted 14 events in 2024 finishing with the season-ending Team Championship. The Australian Rippers, led by captain Cameron Smith, took victory at the season-ending finale.

Jon Rahm won the individual standings in his debut season in the Saudi-funded league. The two-time major champion had a superb season in which he won twice and failed to finish outside of the top 10 in each event he played in.

He won the UK event at JCB and he won the Chicago event at the end of the season. Joaquin Niemann came second and Sergio Garcia came third.

LIV Golf is heading to Korea for the first time in 2025, visiting Jack Nicklaus Golf Club which hosted the last regular event of the DP World Tour season in 2024.

“Bringing LIV Golf to South Korea is another significant milestone as we continue to expand throughout Asia, and our inaugural event in Indy will be a perfect match for a community steeped in sports history and tradition,” said Greg Norman, the LIV CEO at the start of the 2025 season. He was replaced by Scott O’Neill.

“We’re excited to build on the tremendous success we had last year at new LIV Golf venues in Chicago, Dallas and the UK, where we set new league attendance records and saw dramatic competition on the course. And our partnership with Andalucía continues to deliver a memorable experience for players and fans at Valderrama, a one-of-a-kind venue in Spain.”

The league has also arranged an event in Indianapolis for the first time. The roster will be returning to Valderrama in Spain, The Grange in Australia and JCB in the UK which proved to be popular venues in 2024.

Hong Kong Golf Club and Sentosa in Singapore are also returning to the circuit and the season-opening event is headed for Riyadh Golf Club in Saudi Arabia.

At the LIV Golf Adelaide event in February, we learned that LIV Golf will be heading to Adelaide until 2031, so we can expect to see this event until then on each forthcoming LIV schedule.
