  • Summary

I have been saying for years now that a certain brand should be on your radar when it comes considering your next golf shoes. My first ever review of this brand left me stating they were “the best golf shoes I ever tested”. My second review tested a more robust waterproof shoe and I conceded… ‘As a fan of ***** golf shoes, I can confidently say they’ve become my go-to choice.’

Well, it seems that a number of top players have come to the same conclusion and now opt to wear……… drum roll please…… Payntr golf shoes. I would like to think it was down to players reading my reviews but obviously it is not! The credit goes to Payntr producing consistently good products that top players are now taking note of and seriously considering. Something I think more and more golfers, both professional and amateur, will do in the coming years.

Jason Day, the brand’s ambassador has been wearing Payntr golf shoes for a couple of years now and is an active contributor to product development.

Justin Rose joined the Payntr family in 2025 – wearing a pair when he lost out to Rory McIlroy at The Masters, The Ryder Cup 2025 and when he won at the FedEx St. Jude Championship 2025, pipping J.J.Spaun in a play-off. He has also been seen in them playing TGL Golf 2026 – most recently when he managed to hole out for an albatross and showed off some celebratory foot skills in them! See pic below.

For 2026 Payntr have not stopped there and have added the popular Min-Woo Lee and Sam Burns to the Payntr family. Two excellent additions that will help with the brands exposure.

What is more remarkable is that currently there are some crazy offers on this quality shoe brand. Below are some of NCG’s favourite styles – some with discounts of up to 62%! Worth checking out and if your size is left it just might be your lucky day!

Even if they are not discounted they are worthy of consideration due to their undoubted quality – which is now validated by a number of top Tour professionals choosing them to, literally, to support them on the course.

Payntr Golf Shoes 2026 – NCG Top Picks

PAYNTR Eighty Seven SC Spiked Golf Shoes

PAYNTR Eighty Seven SC spiked golf shoes

I thoroughly enjoyed testing my first pair of Payntr shoes, the 87 SC. The combination of good looks, exceptional comfort premium construction and first rate performance means that these shoes get a well-merited 5 star review and although the RRP of £200/$220 is certainly top end, I feel that it is justified.

So, plaudits to Jason Day and the team at Payntr, for this collaboration. I understand that there is the promise of more SC models in Spring 2025 and I’ll be interested to test those, because it’s difficult to see how the Payntr 87 SC could be improved. We shall see!

Pros:

  • Smart and clean appearance.
  • Extremely comfortable.
  • Premium construction and performance.

Cons:

  • Laces look a bit flimsy.

Payntr X-001 Mesh Spikeless Golf Shoe – 62% off

Payntr X 001 Mesh Spikeless Golf Shoe

Better known for producing quality cricket shoes Payntr have now entered the golf market. It is not often a new golf shoe comes along and you think, yep, I might just consider shifting allegiance and move away from the more established brands. Having tested these shoes I do think they could be a disruptor in the market. Along with Jason Day, I would happily be a Payntr brand champion!

Simply – they are the best golf shoes I have ever tested.

They are unbelievably comfortable, attractively designed and leaves you with the feeling a lot of thought has gone into producing a shoe to break into the golf market.

If you are looking for a new shoe for the Spring/Summer I would seriously consider the PAYNTR brand. What’s more if you get lucky with your size and colour preference there are some great deals to be had – read on to find out more
