World rankings dominated by UK and US

The top 10 is suddenly a duopoly
With all the talk of new golfing powers emerging it may come as a surprise to look at the official world rankings following the US Open.
The top 10 comprises six Americans, three Englishmen and a Northern Irishman.
Remarkably, you have to go down to Martin Kaymer in 13th to find a continental European and another three places before you find Charl Schwartzel, the highest ranked player not from either the USA or Europe.
Webb Simpson, the champion at Olympic, has climbed to a career-high fifth, and Tiger Woods is the only American ranked higher.
Also at a career high is Jason Dufner, fourth at Olympic and now eighth in the world. He began 2011 ranked 93 and this year at 33.
There is no change at the top, with Luke Donald well clear of Rory McIlroy, then Lee Westwood and Woods.
Masters champion Bubba Watson comes below Simpson, followed by Players champion Matt Kuchar.
Rounding off the top 10 are Justin Rose and Hunter Mahan, who have won the two WGC events that take place in the early season.
