Westwood's high-flying, soft-landing 2-iron
World No 3 Lee Westwood has been testing a Ping i20 2-iron ahead of this week's US Open...
The fairways at this week's US Open are incredibly narrow. So much so that many tour pros are switching their bags around to cater for strong-lofted long irons.
Lee Westwood could be one of them. The World No 3 has been spotted testing a Ping i20 2-iron at Olympic Club. The tour-only club is designed to fly very high and land softly, making it ideal for attacking the course's small greens and finding its stick-thin fairways.
