New iron set for KJ
KJ Choi has put a new iron set in the bag for Lytham…
For the fourth time in 2012, KJ Choi has put a new iron set in the bag.
The Korean, who has no equipment contract and can thus chop and change as and when he desires, swapped his Miura cavity-backs for a set of Callaway RAZR X Prototype blades.
There is no official word on why he changed out the Miuras but an educated guess is that the minimalist design on the Callaways and weight higher on the face helps lower the flight, which should suit the windy, running conditions of a course like Royal Lytham.
Thanks to the lads at Tour Pro Insider for the image.
