Towards the end of his glittering career, the late, great Seve Ballesteros began designing courses that 'looked and played like I think they should'.

He travelled the world, creating dramatic layouts in far-away lands including Cuba, the Phillipines, and Thailand, as well as countless Spanish and Portuguese tracks.

Incredibly, though, he designed only one in the UK.

This is it - the Shire in London, which was officially opened in June 2009, less than two years before his untimely and tragic death.

The Ballesteros 'Masters' Course is unlike most others you'll play. Created with variety and enjoyment as the main two themes, it has a mix of linksy-looking holes, parkland brutes, and some dramatic water features. There are also 10,000 trees on the property.

You could say it's like four courses in one.

Add into the equation the fact that there are six par-5s, six par-4s, and six par-3s and you have a course that will never bore.

If you want to be able to say you've played the only course in the UK that Seve designed, you're in luck. That's because we're giving away three fourballs absolutely free.

That's right - you and three friends can play this stunning Seve course for nothing.
