LIV Golf Adelaide: Everything you need to know

The sixth event of the 2024 season is LIV Golf Adelaide, the first of two events in LIV’s eastern double-header.
LIV Golf returns to Australia after its incredible success last year, with the Grange Golf Club once again playing host to the three-day tournament.
American Talor Gooch was the victor in Adelaide last year. It was the first of his three successes in the 2023 LIV Golf League season.
LIV Golf Adelaide is one of several high-profile events to take place on Australian soil. In recent weeks, the Ladies European Tour have hosted two events in the country, while the DP World Tour had a run of Australian events prior to Christmas.

Joaquin Niemann has won twice already this season, with victories in Mayakoba and Jeddah, and thanks to two other top ten finishes, the CHilean leads the Individual Standings by more than 30 points.
The other men to taste victory so far in 2024 are Dustin Johnson, who won LIV Golf Las Vegas in February, Abraham Ancer, the victor in Hong Kong, and South Africa’s Dean Burmester – who took victory in Miami.
How does LIV Golf work?
LIV Golf is different to any other major golf tour. There are only 54 players, who play across a 54-hole tournament over three days.

Unlike the PGA Tour or DP World Tour, LIV Golf only features 14 events across the calendar year, while making space for those that can to play in the four major championships.

Matt got into the game of golf from a young age, following his old man to the local golf club. Matt has been a member of Howley Hall GC in Leeds since 2020, and is just about managing to maintain a single-figure handicap.
